Having good skin isn't just the products you use, it's so much more than that. A balence between your diet and other factors can contribute to healthy glowy skin.

Below are some recommendations to make sure your skin is healthy and radient. I believe good skin, produces good makeup. If you don't know where to start, then take a look at 5 habits of people with great skin. This is not makeup related.


1. They never go to bed with makeup on:

Ok so it's tempting. You just got your makeup done for a big event, you spent alot of money. So naturally you want to keep your face on...I mean makeup 😉.

Never go to bed with a full face of makeup. You will cause bacteria build up which will clog your pores and you guessed it give you PIMPLES. Instead use a makeup wipe and go in with your favorite Cleanser.

2. They drink a lot of water:

I know you have heard this before, but it's true. Drinking a lot of water not only hydrates you, but it also keeps your skin radiant. I mean who does want that Instagram Glow.

3. They get a recommended amount of sleep:

This one is so hard for me. You should aim to get 7-8 hours of sleep each night. By not getting enough sleep you are contributing to premature aging. Which gives you wrinkles and eye bags...and NOBODY WANTS THAT!

That is why people call it Beauty sleep🤔?

4. They don't eat a lot of Junk Food:

It's fine to have an occasional cookie or a bag of chips. I know I do, but what if your daily intake of food consists of mostly sugar and other unhealthy foods. Eating to much sugar can cause the breakdown in collagen (collagen helps the skin look younger and supple).

Eating to much carbs like pasta, bread and chips can cause acne aka PIMPLES.

5. They have a workout routine:

Having a good workout routine is not only good for your wellbeing, but its also good for your Skin. Working out on the regular creates blood circulation and Helps decrease early signs of aging. It also helps to lower stress levels and improves your overall mood.. Bonus

I try working out 3-4 times a week for at least 30 minutes.
