Service Overview The Pro Artistry Masterclass is an intensive, multi-session course (or a comprehensive full-day workshop) designed to move you beyond basic application and into the realm of professional makeup artistry. This class focuses on advanced theory, complex techniques, and the professional standards required to work successfully in the beauty industry. ***Who This Is For*** Aspiring or newly freelance Makeup Artists (MUA) looking to solidify their foundation and advance their skills. Experienced beauty enthusiasts ready to master challenging techniques like editorial looks and color correction. Professionals seeking a deeper understanding of lighting, sanitation, and client management. ***What You Will Learn*** This class provides a deep, technical dive into the artistry and business of professional makeup. It balances high-level theory with practical, complex application skills. Advanced Color Theory & Correction: Mastering the use of the color wheel to correct extreme discoloration (dark circles, hyperpigmentation, redness) and perfectly match client undertones. High-Definition (HD) Techniques: Learning how makeup translates under professional lighting (photography, film, stage). Mastering techniques for flawless, invisible makeup application under intense scrutiny. Complex Application Mastery: Step-by-step instruction on advanced skills such as the carved cut-crease, extreme highlighting and contouring (for shaping and lifting), and specialized looks like bridal or runway makeup. Professional Hygiene & Sanitation: Non-negotiable best practices for maintaining a sterile kit, protecting clients, and adhering to professional industry standards. **The Business of Beauty** (Optional Module $250): Guidance on building a professional kit, creating a standout portfolio, and navigating client consultations and bookings. ***Add a Pro Mua Kit for $700** Includes high end products to take your business to the next level **Materials & Requirements** This course requires a willingness to practice advanced techniques. Attendees must bring a professional-level kit. Specific material lists (e.g., proper thinning agents, specialized brushes) will be provided upon registration. ***Multiple sessions*** This class covers three 3 hour sessions.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are preferred 48 hours before the scheduled appointment for all other services. * You must contact the service provider for the appointment you booked. For Mattilynne, please call 402-838-9391 or Lexi at 319-423-4183 *ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON REFUNDABLE Classes can not be canceled,only rescheduled , may only be allowed to reschedule ONCE. In the event the client cancels the project, any deposits received will be non transferable and non refundable. If Artist cancels at any time or is unable to perform her duties for any reason, 100% of the retainer paid will be refunded by check within one week. The client agrees that the refund of 100% of the deposit is the only liability to Sexy Visage and any and all of its owners.
