Our new service that we can't stop raving about is our sunless option, spray tan. Spray tanning is a form of self tanning (or sunless tanning) where a fine mist is sprayed onto your body. This mist has an ingredient in it called Dihydroxyacetone, or better known as DHA. DHA interacts with your own skin’s chemistry to turn it tan, or bronze. If bread is toasted and potatoes are roasted, the chemical reaction is similar. The amino acids on the skin surface react with DHA which results in tanning. Depending on several factors, the tan from DHA lasts from 3-10 days.
